http://www.calgaryfcpug.com/final-cut-pro-7/23387-highest-quality-export-final-cut-pro-7.html Hello and welcome to the forum. The best quality you can export is the same quality your source material is in because you cannot make something better than it is. So, if you select your Sequence and choose File > Export > QuickTime Movie (never QuickTime Conversion for video). Settings should be Current Settings (can't make it better than the source) and make sure Make Movie Self-Contained is checked. If this is not the answer you are looking for then give me some more information and I will try to help. Final Cut Pro 7 will automatically set your Sequence to match your Source clip. If your Source clips are 1440x1080 then you really would need a very good reason to force this to 1920x1080 as they play back the same (both at 1920x1080). You are perhaps looking at HDV settings where you are not seeing 1920x1080?
